Read MorePrimavera P6 is a globally recognised one the most effective tool to plan, manage and execute civil engineering projects. But getting training of Primavera doesn’t come for free, most of the time. That’s why we develop our courses for a very nominal fee, yes you heard it right. It's only $5.00 if you are our subscribed member and you will not only get access to Primavera Course but also to all our courses that shows a $0 fee. Primavera P6 can sometimes be a complex tool to understand if your basics of using the tool are not clear. That’s why we develop our Primavera Basic Course for you to clearly explain step by step process to develop a project program. We use real-world civil engineering project examples and develop the program so you can easily grasp it and correlate it with your real-world projects. And you can view them as many times as you want. In the first module, students will learn about the following topics -Launching Primavera P6, start-up window, drop-down menus, toolbars, sidebars, option settings, etc. Please click to see the Preview of the Course. The second module provides details of Enterprise Project Systems (EPS). Primavera is a cloud-based Project Planning tool and it saves the projects program of the enterprise in EPS. So, it's very important for students to know how to operate EPS and how to create a new EPS category for a new project. The third module provides details of setting up a new project within a new EPS category within Enterprise Project Systems (EPS). The module also covers the process of developing a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) of a new project. This is the most important step of a project before assigning any activity. The fourth module provides a detailed process of creating activities of a project. We have developed a civil engineering project program, so the activities are developed for a civil engineering project. The fifth module provides a detailed process of setting up the calendar of the project. Primavera provides global and project-specific calendar options. It would be very useful to know when to use what type of calendar. The module also explains how to assign a calendar to a project. The sixth module explains the process of setting the layout page of the project program. It explains how to set the columns for activities, the Gant chart and the activity area. you can also customise the layout for a specific project or for a specific user. The seventh module covers the process of linking activities in three possible ways. It also provides details of predecessor and successor linking. The module also explains the linking process in a specific constraint situation and shows how that impacts the overall project duration. In the end, a high-level project program is created to demonstrate the whole process of project planning using Primavera P6.
Read moreMaking a perfect CV means focusing on micro details. Every letter, every corner, every information needs to be polished and presented to stand out from the crowd. Even if the information is the same in your CV and your competitor CV, but appearance makes them miles apart. Most people use Word to create their CVs. But the default word document doesn’t provide any features. So, they end up making a dull CV. Even after spending many hours, fitting additional features, colours, fonts, icons, the template doesn’t provide what they have imagined. So, what is the option? That’s what we do for you. So, get ready to open your wings to fly high in the sky Our CV builder provides plenty of customized CV templates to our students to build CVs as per their needs. The course module provides a detailed process of CV Building using GCE CV Builder Application. There are 27 professionally designed CV templates to publish the final CV. The course module provides step by step process to build your CV from the first step of filling personal information to education, work experiences, hard and soft skills, awards, recognitions, training, interest, references, template selection process and printing process. Read moreRoad tunnels are alternative ways, to cross a physical obstruction such as a mountain, or river, etc. Tunnels are considered as a viable solution, to minimize environmental impact, noise pollution, air pollution compare to the elevated viaduct. It is also intact the historical spirit of the location, such as archaeological value, conservation of endangered species and natural habitat. Our Tunnel Engineering course modules are designed to cover all key aspects of Tunnel Engineering. It covers the definition of a tunnel, its shape, criteria of tunnel consideration, type of tunnels, tunnel lining, tunnel construction engineering, rock tunnelling, soft-ground tunnelling, etc. The first module starts with shapes and elements of tunnels, criteria of tunnel consideration such as ground condition, environmental impact, land use restriction, constructability, sustainable development, etc. The module then shares the types of tunnels based on the method of construction such as cut and cover tunnels, bored tunnels, soft ground tunnels, immersed tunnels, jacked box tunnels. The second module covers the horizontal and vertical design of tunnel alignment, cross-section element, geotechnical Investigation and details of cut and covers tunnel. The third module covers rock tunnelling and soft-ground tunnelling. The module explains how rock behaves, fails and rock failure mechanism. The module then explains rock tunnelling methods like drill and blast method, tunnel boring machine (TBM), and road headers method. The module also covers soft ground tunnelling methods like shield tunnelling, slurry tunnelling, sequential Excavation Method (SEM), The fourth module covers tunnel lining and tunnel construction engineering. Tunnel linings are installed for reasons like providing ground support, maintain the tunnel opening, limit the inflow of groundwater, provide a base, for the finished exposed surface of the tunnel, etc. The module covers the key points of tunnel design consideration like lining stiffness, and deformation, durability, high-density concrete, corrosion protection, lining joints, etc. The module also covers the reasons for lining stiffness, deformation and mitigation measures. Lastly, the module covers key aspects of tunnel construction engineering such as Constructability, Construction Sequencing, Mucking and Disposal and Health & Safety.
Read morePreparing structure drawing is one of the most tedious tasks, to say the least, and when the structure is highly complex with plenty of structure details, that adds further complexities for CAD Technicians and Engineers. That’s why we develop this course and address various stages and procedures to develop Structure drawings using AutoCAD. The first module covers Introduction to AutoCAD and its basic interface. The module also shares all the details of the menu, command windows, pop-down windows and other operational details. The second module covers the basic setting of AutoCAD, basic functions, and interfaces. The third module explains how to use various toolbars in AutoCAD. Some toolbars are very useful for structure drawing preparation. The fourth module explains how to develop an architecture plan and develop each component of the plan layout. The fifth module is the continuation of architecture plan development and structure details development. The sixth module explains how to place columns in the building plan layout and then how to develop column layouts and associated details in the drawing. The seventh module explains how to place beams within the building plan layout and how to develop beam layouts and associated details in the drawings.
